    • Technical specification

      Principle of motion

      Distilled water producing system is equipped with preheating tube, evaporation and condensation tube and steam separator in each column and consists of several columns (up to eight columns) that operates separately.

      Only the first column is heated by external heat source.

      Pure steam produced in the first column is used for heat source of the next column and in the second column, heat source of the next column. Pure steam is produced at a lower pressure than that in the first column. Pure steam produced in a column in used as heat source of the next column. When produced pure stream is used as heat source of the next column, pure steam is condensed and turns into pure distilled water.

      In the last column, some of the pure steam is condensed by feed water (D/I) and others are condensed by cooling water. (if column is seven or more, cooling water is very small quantity.
      Distilled water with high purity begins to be generated in a part that pure steam is produced and is produced by cyclone which is designed so that it can operate very effectively and combined action. Cyclone is very important in maximizing the purity of steam. Distilled water producing and pure steam producing system developed b FAC is characterized by a device that combines cyclon and hi speed separator (patent :98-1170, 98-1171. 98-492)

      Highly efficient spray nozzle which is specially designed at the top o column plays an important role of enhancing qualty of distilled water an energy efficiency (patent: 98-1170)

      Purity of distilled water
      Distilled water produced by system developed by FAC i free of pyrogen and salinity, particle and iron contained in the distilled wate meets USP standards and international medical standards. Conductivity o distilled water producing system developed by FAC is abou 1.0 Micro S/cm (receptivity. 1㏁ ).

    • FEED WATER (D/I)
      Clean water used for distilled water producing system developed by FAC requires preteatment by deionization system to prevent scale. Conductivity of clean water is 2-5 micro s/cm but this system is designed so that it can take up to 1ppm of silica content which enables the equipment to operate in a stable manner under unfavorable conditions. There is alarm system


      Feed Water Pump Type
      Pressure of feed water should be constant and it should be higher than the first steam pressure by 0.1 Mpa or more which requires discussion in advance. If it is possible that feed water pressure is supplied at a higher than plant steam pressure, price of machine can be lowered.


      Cooling Water
      Running water is usually used as cooling water but up to 8deg.H(german) of hardness is reflected in machinr design. In case that hardness is 8 deg.H(german) or more, softner water should be used. Amount of cooling water varies depending on quantity of effects ( temperature of cooling water is based on 20。C


      Heat source (Heating Steam)
      Distilled water producing system (Steam use type FD Model) is designed so that it can operate at a steam pressure of up to 0.8 Mpa.
      Output of distilled water varies by the first supply steam pressure and it is specified in our technical specification. Distilled water output specified in technical specification is one guarenteed by our company and actual output is more than specified one by about five percent.


      Distilled water producing and pure steam system
      Distilled water oroducing system can also be used as system that produces pure steam required for sterilization.
      Pure Steam can be designed such that it can correspond to specification ordered in the first column. Output of pure steam depends on the first steam pressured in case of FDP type.
      In case that pure steam is used at full capacity, distiiled water is not produced(Standard model). Pure steam can be used only when distilled water producing system is operating and if distilled water system is operating while pure steam is being used, Pure steam can be used only when distilled water producing system is operating and if distilled water system is operating while pure steam is being used, pressure of column No. 2 can be kept at least 0.2 Mpa (135 。C )While pure steam is being used, production of distilled water can be reduced. However, it is possible to produce distilled water by option.


      Operation and preparation
      It takes about 30 minutes for distilled water producing system to produce distilled water.
      When distilled water producing system stops because distilled water storage tank fills to the fullest extent, only small amount of clean water flows into the first column and a minimum amount of steam is produced and maintains temperature required for normal operation. Therefore, it is possible to produce distilled water at full capacity when production of distilled water is needed.
      It is possible to reoperate this system when distilled water in a tank has minimum value and produce distilled water by setting production time depending on specification.


      Control device and system
      Distilled water producing system developed by FAC is characterized by full automatic operating & control and operates automatically according to level of distilled water storage tank.
      Can select operation mode on touch screen located in control panel. Alarm system directs all necessary situations and if necessary stops operation of distilled water producing system.

      Connection of remote alarm signal is possible(optional).
      Conductivity of distilled water is recorded automatically. Temperature of distilled water in storage tank and quality of feed water(D/I) are recorded in the same recorder by option.


      Structure
      Column consists of evaporation tube, pre heating tube, cyclone and high speed separator.
      In each column, there is only flange consisting of two fixed teflon gaskets. There is no flowing part.
      If quality of clean water meets a standard, cleaning distilled water producing system is not required. If quality of clean water does not meet a standard, there may occur scale and therefore there is connecting part for cleaning in each column


      Material
      All parts that W.F.I Line and pure steam in a column contact are composed of STS 316 L


      Cooler of distilled water
      Temperature of distilled water is lowered to about 97。C by cooling water of 20。C This is to protect distilled water from pollutants such as pyrogen. Tube type heat exchanger has Shell & Tube structure and is installed in the upper part of machine.
      Temperature of distilled water produced is marked digitally in a control panel .
      Temperature of distilled water is adjusted by automatic valve located in cooling water line( 99。C )


      Installation
      Distilled water producing system developed by FAC has simple and compact structure and immediate operation is possible only if utility is connected as delivery is made in a state that dry test has been completed in a factory of FAC after production is made.
